Hello all!
For all of us staying in Changshu over the Christmas period Simon and I will be hosting a Hanuka party on Sat night 24th (yes Christmas eve').
Hanuka is the Jewish holiday where we celebrate the miracle of light that happened to us during the Roman rule of Israel.
On Hanuka we light candles, eat latkes (grated potatoes fritters) with apple puree and cream and my all time favourite Sufganiot the jewish jam doughnut, we also play games and hand out gold coins!
The celebration will kick off at 7 with a traditional candle lighting followed by food and games!
Alcohol is BYO!!!
So as to insure the amount of food would be sufficient pls RSVP by the 20/12
Gold Coins will be distributed at the party!
Hope to see you all
